I am the leader of my pack. Our dogs are whelped, raised, and all live inside my home. I want to promote this breed as the loving, sensitive, affectionate, intelligent companions that they are.
I could not have asked for a better foundation of females. I have always owned GCh Celtic's Rhiannon and love her dearly. She is everything I admire and look for in this breed! Her mother "Bleu" was the best grandma and great-grandma dog ever. She lived a long, wonderful life greeting everyone she met with kisses (RIP 14 plus years). Rhiannon's kids have excelled in the conformation ring earning CGC's, TDI's, CA,Tt's. She also has produced Group winning, International Champions, and Top 10 ranked dogs. Can't wait to see what the future holds!
I let several of my dogs sleep with me, but rotate who can sleep in the bed as they will not all fit and leave room for me:) My dogs have a fenced yard to run in, or if weather permits, hang out and chew on a bone or chase a ball.
I love to show my dogs. I also do basic obedience and dog sports, such as dock diving, with all of my dogs. We love to hike and go to the lake with our other four-legged friends. Socialization is second nature to my dogs and pups! I breed occasionally, and first and foremost, breed for temperament! Celtic Amstaffs will not own, breed, or show a dog capable of biting a human.
I work as a groomer for a veterinarian and have done this for over 18 years. When I have a litter of pups, they are not left unattended as I take them to work and have a whelping area set up there so that the pups can be monitored all day. I feel that dogs should never be tied out on a chain! If you want a companion to love and snuggle with at night, who may excel in the conformation or obedience ring, view my site and look at all my four-legged kids.
Feel free to email me with any questions; however, phone calls are prefered. And make sure if you already own a dog, give it a kiss tonight as life is short and sometimes taken for granted.
If you are interested in one of our dogs, we also have references from puppy owners from over the years. We have a several who have gotten more than one of our dogs :) Some from the same litters and some after years of loving a Celtic dog :)
If we do not have a dog or puppy for you at this time, we can refer you to other breeders who we work with and feel strive to produce the same temperaments we do for a wonderful show dog or, most importantly, a life long family companion.
